What we collect when you contact us
We collect what you give us when you ask for a tow truck or roadside help, and very little else.
The quote form. When you send the form, we receive what you typed into it: your name and phone number, your email address if you added one, the service you picked, where the vehicle is, where it should go and anything you wrote under details.
Phone calls. When you call, we see the number you are calling from and the date, time and length of the call. Calls to our number may be recorded so we can confirm the details of a job, such as the pickup location, the vehicle and the price we quoted.
This website does not ask for payment card numbers, and the form has no field for them.
Why we use it
We use what you send only to quote and arrange the job you asked about, to call you back about it, and to keep a record of what we agreed. A recorded call is there so that the address, the vehicle and the price we both heard are the ones the job runs on.
Who else handles your information
A few outside services carry or see some of your information:
- FormSubmit. The quote form is delivered by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a form service that receives what you send and passes it to us by email. FormSubmit's own privacy policy covers how it handles the message along the way.
- A call-tracking service. Calls to our number run through a call-tracking service, which connects the call and keeps the call details for us, including the recording when a call is recorded.
- Our hosting provider. The company that hosts this website keeps standard server logs, such as the IP address that asked for a page, the page it asked for and the time.
- Google Fonts. The typefaces on this site load from Google Fonts, so when a page opens, your browser fetches the font files from Google's servers.
We do not sell what you send us. It goes only to the people who quote and do the job you asked for, and to the services named above that carry it.
No tracking cookies and no scripts
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies and runs no JavaScript. There are no tracking pixels, chat widgets or ad networks on it. The pages are plain HTML and CSS, and even the menus and the question lists open without a script.
How to have your details deleted
Ask, and we will delete what you sent us. Call the number shown at the top and bottom of every page, or send the quote form with your name, the phone number you used and the word delete in the details box. We will then delete your form messages, the call details and any call recording we hold for you.
Otherwise we keep what you send for as long as we need it to do the job and to keep our own records of it. If we did a job for you, we may need to keep a basic record of it, such as the date, the vehicle and the amount, and we will tell you if that applies when you ask.
Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect or who handles it, we will update this page, and the version here is always the current one. If anything on it is unclear, call us or use the quote form and ask.
